Lil Smart: I left Naira Marley’s label after mental illness of colleagues

In the midst of the online saga surrounding the death of Mohbad, former Marlian Music Record label dancer Lil Smart has expressed concern and fear for his safety.

In a chat with afrobeat legend Davido’s crew member, Dre, Lil Smart alleged that two former colleagues were driven mentally ill by Naira Marley’s violent lifestyle.

In his words:

Broo I’m scared, they killed my Mohbad. The only one encouraging me and giving me hope as we left that devilish label. Do you know, two people ran mad before I left?” Lil Smart said.

Dre assured him not to worry and took to Instagram saying, “God knows I won’t start what I can’t finish, may your spirit not forgive all of us if we don’t make you happy Mohbad.”

Recall that in January 2023, the popular dancer revealed that he left the record label because he was not appreciated enough.

According to him, Marlian Music started with just one duplex but when Naira Marley began building houses, he refused to give him a room to stay, leading him to put up with friends.
