Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at the age of 27. He was laid to rest the following day in Ikorodu according to Islamic rites.

Mohbad's associates revealed that before his sudden demise, mohbad was allegedly attacked on several occasions after he had left Marlian Music owned by popular Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley due to internal dispute and allegations related to assaults.

Naira Marley's close friend, Sam Larry, has been heavily accused of assaulting the late singer when he was alive.

Sam Larry rushed to deactivate his social media account (Instagram) after he was accused of assaulting Mohbad on several occasions before his sudden demise.
